It’s Murkowski
This is painful. Lisa Murkowski, who became a U.S. senator by being appointed to the position by her father, and who, after being defeated in the GOP primary in her bid for re-election this year, ran as a write-in candidate against the Republican nominee, has been declared the winner. Hard to see any silver lining in this miserable cloud.
Also, it’s an absolute disgrace that Republican Senate Leader McConnell said that Murkowski, if she won as a write-in candicate, would keep her committee assignments and seniority. She should have been kicked out of the GOP. Email entry |
