Against the tax deal
Jeffrey Kuhner in the Washington Times argues against the tax deal that the Republican congressional leadership cut with President Obama. Because it does not include spending cuts, it results in yet another large increase in the national debt which we cannot afford and which brings us closer to the sort of fiscal crisis now being experienced in Europe. He says the deal opens a fissure between the GOP establishment, who support it, and the tea partiers, who oppose it. Posted by Lawrence Auster at December 17, 2010 07:13 AM | Send Email entry |
