Treating blogs (and cable news) like gods

In the entry on “The robot reporters of cable news,” Bartholomew has written a magnificent comment about his former addiction to blogs (including this one), and on how the cable news networks seek to manipulate their viewers into watching them 24/7, as though they were the source of all truth, when in reality they usually have nothing to say.
