The intellectual nothings of National Review
As I was re-reading my August 2006 anatomization of the intellectual emptiness of National Review editor Richard Lowry and his colleagues on the Islam question, the question that kept coming into my head was, “How can these people stand themselves? How can they be comfortable with their shallow, evasive treatment of the issue?
