Wisconsin Dems still fighting; are the Republicans?

Sage McLaughlin wonders why the Wisconsin Republicans don’t generate intolerable legislation in order to bring the Democrats back to the legislature. This question is even more baffling in view of today’s news that the Democrats in the Wisconsin Assembly are feverishly generating unacceptable amendments to the anti-union bill in an effort to derail it. Thus, in a legislature that is ostensibly totally Republican controlled, both Senate and Assembly, it appears that the Republicans are dozing while the Democrats are furiously active.
