Check out today’s NY Times story about the gang rape of an 11 year old girl in Texas.

Eighteen men rape an 11 year old girl and record it on their mobile phones and then show the criminal footage around town—what sort of savages are these? You’d have no idea from reading the Times story. Unless you know how to read between the liberal lines, because of course if they’d been white we’d have heard all about it, but since they’re black, mum’s the word.

I get so burned up when I see a story like this, because each of these young men, so full of potential, would have been a lawyer or doctor, or at least a computer repairman, had it not been for America’s system of white skin privilege which keeps blacks down and forces them into a life of crime.
