Rumors of meltdown

The Drudge Report has many news stories on the ongoing crisis at the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan. I don’t claim to have a clear understanding of what is happening and of how close the reactor is to a meltdown. But my impression from looking at several of the most recent articles, as well as articles earlier in the week, is that the news media, in their usual irresponsible manner, have consistently overstated the danger.
