A simple question

Being chairman of the Republican National Committee or the Democratic National Committee is a demanding, full-time job, right? How is it, then, that Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a sitting member of Congress, is the chairman (“chair” in Democratic speak) of the DNC?
