Roving bands of blacks committing wilding attacks on cyclists in St. Louis

Jim C. sends the below article from the local CBS station in St. Louis with the note: “Are blacks really targetting cyclists? Methinks they’re targeting whites.”

Well, those described in the headline as “teens” targetting cyclists are identified in the body of the article as “African-American teens.” So that’s one half of the perp-victim picture. The victim in this case was named Ramirez, so that allowed the media to avoid saying that the victims are white. Still, let’s give CBS credit for giving the race of the attackers.

ST. LOUIS, MO. (KMOX)—There’s an alert out about recent assaults on bike riders in south St. Louis.

Trailnet.org, an organization that promotes hiking and biking, is cautioning riders to be on the alert for roving bands of teenagers who swarm and attack riders.

Trailnet says the latest attack was last Thursday (8/25) afternoon near Missouri Botanical Garden where a group of 10 to 15 African-American teens charged and attacked a cyclist.

“They weren’t really interested in robbing me. It just seemed like they wanted to beat me up,” says assault victim Cheech Ramirez. “They weren’t interested in letting me get off the ground and having a fair fight.”

Ramirez says he and his friends returned to the scene minutes later to help another bicyclist who was being beaten.

Police say there have been other, similar attacks in the city, and they believe all the victims are picked at random. [LA replies: “picked at random” is police/media-speak for “the attackers had not been socially introduced to the victim before they attacked him.”]

Mayor Francis Slay is calling for action, possibly with citizen bike patrols set up with the help of Trailnet and local police.

Police urge bike riders to be aware of their surrounding and call 911 when they see a swarm mob preparing an assault.

Back in early July, someone told me about these unprovoked attacks on bike riders in St. Louis. He had been visiting his parents, and they warned him to stay off the bike trails and only ride in traffic if he went for a bicycle ride. He specifically said it was black kids attacking white bicyclists.

I don’t entirely know why, but this line in the article on the mobs attacking bicyclists in St. Louis leaves me almost speechless with indignation:

Picture the 911 call: “Hello, yes, I’m on my bike, and I see a swarm mob preparing for an as … [Bang! The caller is knocked off his bike.]”

It’s almost humorous, in a dark sort of way. Don’t actually do anything to defend yourself or the innocent. Just call 911 and calmly inform them that you have sighted a swarm mob preparing for an assault!

I don’t know if you’ve had a chance to read the comments on the CBS affiliate web site about the black teens attacking cyclists. I’ve never seen anything like it on any mainstream web site, and I begin to wonder if the worm is about to turn. Virtually all the commenters are either noting how tired they are of the fact that the media covers up the races of the perpetrators, or they are talking about the right kind of gun to carry to deal with it. Nobody is taking them to task for their “racism”, or even questioning the comments. Phrases like “bring back segregation”, or “is that the preferred size shot for use on blacks” are common throughout the thread, and more astonishingly, the CBS affiliate has not censored the comments, or shut them down.

Here’s an example of a portion of the thread. I’d swear, the white people in St. Louis have been reading VFR!

Easy to explain:

The beatings are pre-meditated and racially motivated. The White victims, however, (since they are the majority) are plentiful. Therefore the choice of WHICH white victim is random.
