How big is the media coverup of Egyptian mob attack on CNN and PBS reporters?

This big. I did a Google search for

“margaret warner” cairo

The first results page has nothing on the incident. It’s all stuff about Warner’s previous reporting on Cairo.

Even the CNN’s September 10 article about the mob attack does not appear on the first page of results.

Here is CNN’s account of Warner’s role in the incident:

Somehow, Fahmy managed to carry Amer to the open door of the public television crew’s car, where two of her female colleagues were waiting just a few feet away.

The mob pounded on the windows and tried to reach into the vehicle as the panicked reporters fumbled and struggled to get behind the steering wheel.

When Margaret Warner, a correspondent with the PBS program “Newshour” managed to get the vehicle moving away from the crowd, men threw stones at the departing vehicle.

Remember that Margaret Warner has been one of the chief newsreaders and anchor persons on The News Hour for about the last 20 years.

Even with “mob” in the search, most stories are her reporting on the mob attacking the Israeli embassy. Perhaps this will change.
