The plain truth
This headline is at Drudge tonight:
Pack Of Violent Black,I post this, not because the story itself is a big deal,—the incident is not in the same league as the large scale flash mobs / wildings that have been going on throughout the country for the past year—but because of the unusual racial explicitness of Drudge’s headline. And that in turn was possible because the linked article, from CBS in Denver, is racially explicit.
The same happened a year or two ago when there was a months-long series of black-on-white attacks in Denver and the local media and police stated plainly that these were black-on-white attacks. That sort of truthfulness has not been seen in other cities—and, of course, has barely been seen in the national media at all. Email entry |
