Perry’s apology tour
We heard yesterday that Gov. Perry was making the rounds of the TV talk shows, demonstrating a becoming humility and sense of humor about his disastrous brain-freeze in the GOP debate Wednesday night. One commentator even said that the embarrassing incident was the best thing that could have happened to Perry, since it gave him an opportunity to show his more appealing, humble side, and this will help revivify his campaign. However, I think the below, from Michelle Malkin’s site, offers a more realistic perspective on Perry’s apology tour:
John Podhoretz tweets: “This is a real opportunity for Rick Perry to make it known he has a sense of humor about being completely unfit to be president.” Posted by Lawrence Auster at November 11, 2011 08:40 AM | Send Email entry |
