Debate

I watched the entire GOP debate tonight and it was well worth the time. I felt that all the candidates did themselves well to varying degrees except for Romney, who kept striking me as weak compared to the others, and that oh-so-superior but oh-so-incoherent character from Utah. While my gal Bachmann started disappointingly, with another rote account of her “55 years” of experience, she got stronger as the night went on and engaged in gripping colloquys with Gingrich and with Paul in which she more than held her own. There is a huge amount that could be said about the debate. I’ll try to write some of it up tomorrow.
