From Long Island to Iowa
VFR reader Irv P. recently traveled to Michele Bachmann’s campaign headquarters in Iowa on a personal mission to speak to Bachmann’s advisors and give them his thoughts on how she needed to raise the level of her campaign if she is to have a hope of winning. He knew it was a quixotic quest, but was convinced he had something important to say and felt he had no choice but to make the attempt. The trip turned out to be far more successful than he hoped, as, without any appointment, he immediately met Bachmann’s top campaign staff who listened to him at length and seemed to take his ideas and suggestions seriously. He tells the story at Steve Deace’s blog. Posted by Lawrence Auster at December 20, 2011 04:34 PM | Send Email entry |
