If readers are wondering about the current focus of the site on presidential politics, the reason is that I haven’t had the energy for more substantive subjects—hah.

I realize that the “hah” is ambiguous. It is directed, not at the statement that I’ve lacked energy recently, but at the idea that presidential politics, which the entire world is obsessed with at the moment, is not very substantive from VFR’s point of view.
