White America’s latest payment to the Tax Man

Major media outlets in the U.S. do not report these crimes; but the Daily Mail across the ocean does:

Couple met and married within a month and stayed together for 65 years … only to be parted after home invader beat wife to death

An 85-year-old woman was sexually assaulted and battered to death by a home invader who also shot her 90-year-old husband in the face with a BB gun.

Nancy and Bob Strait, who had celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in December, were discovered by their daughter at their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Both the pensioners were rushed to hospital where Mrs Strait, who was nearly blind, died from her injuries.
Mr Strait, who served in the 101st Airborne Division in World War II, suffered a broken jaw, broken ribs and severe bleeding. He is in a serious condition in hospital.

Police have arrested 20-year-old Tyrone Dale David Woodfork in connection with the case.

The Straits’ distraught family today paid tribute to the pair, who grew up in poverty in rural Oklahoma during the Great Depression.

They met each other on a blind date on Thanksgiving 1946, married a month later and went on to have six children, 18 grandchildren and about 50 great and great-great grandchildren. They had recently welcomed a great-great-great grandchild. [cont.]

Really, Larry. I think you have exaggerated a little bit and have gone a tad overboard when you assert that the major liberal media do not routinely cover these deadly assaults involving black people. Where have you been? To demonstrate how wrong you are in this regard, I am sending you a link to a racially charged murder which has been carried by just about every media outlet in the country.

From the Daily Mail:

Wait a second … That is five generations removed from them—if they had a kid in 1947, there would be about 65 years for four more generations to emerge—the great great great grandchild would have about 16.25 years between each generation.

Child 1947
Grandchild 1963
Great grandchild 1980
Great great grandchild 1996
Great great great grandchild 2012

LA replies:

Here’s a story from Tulsa World from which the Mail seems to have gotten its information. It also says that their first great great great grandchild was recently born. And you’re right—that’s impossible (I wrote the below before I saw that you had written a similar list):

1. Bob and Nancy

2. their first child born 1947

3. their first grand child born 1963

4, their first great grand child born 1979

5. their first great great grandchild born 1996

6. their first great great great grandchild born 2012

Now what if it was a simple mistake of writing an extra “great” and it is their first great great grandchild that was just born? That would mean 21.66 years for each generation since 1947. Rather young for each generation to have its first child for three generations in a row, but certainly possible and for rural people probably fairly normal:

1. Bob and Nancy

2. their first child born 1947

3. their first grand child born 1969

4, their first great grand child born 1990

5. their first great great grandchild born 2012

Regarding the comment about the Trayvon Martin shooting, I heard that covered as the top story on CBS radio driving to work this morning, and it was again one of the main stories on my drive home. The morning story talked about how college campuses throughout Florida held protests over the shooting, with audio of protesters in the background. This made me realize it is a widely organized event, and is probably meant to motivate more Obama donors. One thing we can be sure of the protests are organized not spontaneous. My best guess is like I said, to generate political support for Obama, but it could be something else that will become clear over the next week or so. Is there some hate crime legislation coming up for a vote in Congress?
