Today the New York Post reports:
Manhattan worshippers yesterday joined churchgoers across America in donning hoodies to honor Trayvon Martin, the unarmed black teen blown away by a Florida cop wannabe. Cropped online version of print photo that showed many more hoodie-clad churchgoers Martin, 17, was killed Feb. 26 in a gated community in Sanford, Fla., by volunteer neighborhood-watch captain George Zimmerman. Looking at the photo you posted you’d think it was a conclave of Franciscan monks (who wear hoods as part of their monastic garb). Somehow I doubt that. Interestingly enough, in the link you posted about the five year old Indian girl in Britain crippled by gunfire as she danced, look at the last series of photos in the Daily Mail article. One of the thugs is caught on camera wearing a … you guessed it … HOODIE! Must have been a sign of solidarity with Trayvon.Jeanette V. writes: The hagiography will be published soon.Forta Leza writes: Middle Collegiate Church is the church in which the guy in the hoodie was photographed.
