Analysis of April 20 bond hearing
The blog TalkLeft, written by a left-leaning criminal defense attorney, examines in detail the court hearing on Friday and shows how astonishingly weak the prosecution’s case is. For example, they have no evidence that Zimmerman did not start heading back to his car after the 911 dispatcher said he didn’t need to follow Martin, and, not withstanding their use of the loaded word “confronted” in the affidavit, they have zero evidence that Zimmerman began the physical altercation. Under questioning, the entire prosecution team seem like bureaucrats indifferent to truth, or, not to put too fine a point on it, human scum.
