We should never treat the sick and transgressive as normal and acceptable

Brett A. writes:

I was reading an article on Michelle Malkin’s site about an anti-bullying speech by Dan Savage where he began bullying Christians in the audience who then walked out. What jumped out at me in the quoted text was this particular sentence “Savage, and his husband, were also guests at the White House for President Obama’s 2011 LGBT Pride Month reception.”

I don’t think conservatives should let such misuse of our language stand. My thought is anytime a leftist article states matter-of-factly an obvious untruth such as “Savage, and his husband” conservatives quoting the article should add a [sic]. For example, “Savage, and his husband [sic], were also guests at the White House for President Obama’s 2011 LGBT Pride Month reception.”

LA replies:

Much of the mainstream conservative movement went along with the homosexualization of the military, after having previously vociferously opposed it. The same thing will probably happen with homosexual “marriage.”

That jumped out at me, too, and I intended to write to you about it, but Brett beat me to it!
