Man bites dog (white man kills black woman)

This evening on the CBS Show 48 Hours they ran a story about an interracial relationship gone bad. An Iraq War veteran brutally murdered his girlfriend. However, before you get too interested, let me tell you that the man was white and the woman black. Granted they did not focus on the racial angle, but rather on his bad experiences of that war. But I felt a white man killing his black girlfriend, post traumatic stress disorder or not, had to have been a statistical outlier. I wonder how many stories of black men killing their white girlfriends they had to pass over to get to this one.
