The “white Hispanic”

The USA Today story linked in the previous entry refers to George Zimmerman again as a “white Hispanic.” The article also shows this picture of him in court yesterday:

Now ask yourself this. If you had just seen George Zimmerman, say, as a victim or a suspect at a crime scene, and the police asked you what race he was, would you—would ANYONE—describe him as “white”? Of course not. Most people would describe him as Hispanic. Nobody would say he was white. Yet the media, in order to sustain their narrative of the ubiquitous white racism that threatens blacks with violence—that ever-lurking white racism of which Zimmerman’s encounter with Trayvon Martin was but one instance—must keep calling Zimmerman “white.”

And then recall my liberal acquaintance who in April, in a conversation about the Martin-Zimmerman case, said to me, in all seriousness, “The Right has racialized the issue.”

And by the way, the man sitting next to Zimmerman in the photo, Don West, one of his attorneys, is white. Zimmerman is not white.

The only good white is John Roberts.

I’m considerably fairer than Zimmerman and yet when I am in Europe everyone assumes I’m Hispanic or Italian. In the U.S. I would guess that a majority of people see me as white (my mother was Puerto Rican “white Hispanic” and my father British). However here in the South more people have guessed correctly that I have Hispanic heritage.

It is essential that we fight back against what is happening to George Zimmerman. We should get Zimmerman acquitted of all charges, and sent out of the country as a refugee from the current leftist Regime much as refugees from eastern bloc Communism once found refuge in the United States. In the meantime every possible prosecutorial mistake in the Zimmerman case should be cataloged and examined for the coming disbarment hearing of Angela Corey and the career ruin of all who appointed and helped her. The model here should be the disbarment and career ruin of Michael Nifong, former District Attorney for Durham, NC. The message to the left and the leftist judiciary should be: you may choose to follow the leftist script, but it will not be without substantial risk. We will fight back and we will do everything we can to destroy you. You can no longer chose to destroy lives to advance your career and your political agenda without a cost.
