A threat to American culture previously ignored by VFR:
The Pizza / Split Infinitive complex

From: Sage Mclaughlin
To: Laura Wood and Lawrence Auster
Larry/Laura,

I came across this cunning advertisement this morning in an Internet pop-up. This joining together of the split infinitive, “popular” culture, and the pizza-industrial complex is as clear evidence as any I have yet discovered of an organized conspiracy, a diabolic unity, behind advanced modernity’s many diffuse attacks on traditional standards and realities. Perhaps it will cause Larry to reconsider his previous toleration of that most subversive phrase:

boldly%20slice

Laura Wood replies:

Thank you, Sage. I am not at all surprised by this. Expect more. Much more.

I hope this will convince Mr. Auster to reconsider his disturbing silence on the only important threat to Western civilization that he routinely overlooks. He has even accused me of making too much of the pizza issue! He just doesn’t get it.
