Examiner.com: “Gays’ calls for boycott of Chick-fil-A not exactly having the desired effect”

Among other things, the article reminds us what Dan Cathy actually said in his hateful statement which according to many Democrats deprived his company of the right to do business:

The “outrage” occurred after openly Christian Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy, when asked a question about whether his company supports homosexual so-called “marriage,” responded with what some consider incredibly hateful, intolerant and bigoted comments.

Baptist Press has quoted Cathy as saying (WARNING: WHAT FOLLOWS IS WHAT SOME MAY CONSIDER VITRIOLIC “HATE SPEECH”):

“We are very much supportive of the family—the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.

“We operate as a family business … our restaurants are typically led by families; some are single. We want to do anything we possibly can to strengthen families. We are very much committed to that … “

Cathy declined to wear the mark of the Beast on his forehead, so he can’t be allowed to buy and sell any more.

I’m reminded of what Nicholas Davidson said 22 years ago in Chronicles, that the time was fast approaching when traditional views would simply be illegal.
