A refuge
A reader sent a comment that began, “Self-mutilations, in and of themselves, are tolerable…. “ I told him: “I’m not going to post a comment saying self-mutilations are tolerable. Just as I don’t post comments saying homosexual marriage is good. VFR exists, in part, to provide a refuge from the surrounding culture.”
He wrote back: “A refuge, yes. One important reason VFR is my favorite traditionalist site. I fully understand your reason.” Email entry |
