Woman stabbed to death in the new Egypt, brought to us by American democracy lovers

This video seems to show a woman being stabbed to death, though I don’t see the knife, while the woman screams and people (her family?) gather around and yell. It is described as an honor killing in Egypt, and the blogger describes a precise location, but I don’t know how this is known.

I agree with you that the U.S. promotion of the “Arab Spring” is a disaster. However, I am sure there were plenty of honor killings in Egypt under Mubarak—this practice seems to be a standard part of Arab culture—and I doubt that the accession of the new government has made them any more prevalent. If you have information to the contrary, I’d be interested to hear it.

I have read that honor kilings happen even in Israel (i.e., in Israel within the pre-67 borders) among the Israeli Arabs, and the Israeli government does little or nothing about it. It seems that in Arab and other Islamic societies, the modern concept that the government holds a monopoly on the legitimate use of violence (other than in immediate self defense) has not take hold.

I don’t have data, but it is simply inevitable that under a strict sharia regime with its harsh restrictions on women, there will be a significant increase in honor killings.

Also, you keep referring to “Arabs,” when the honor killing issue is not related to Arabs per se, but to Muslims. It’s possible there are some non-Muslim Arabs who practice honor killings, but by far the practice has most to do with Muslims, of whatever background, whether Arab or south Asian. However, I haven’t heard specifically of honor killings among Muslim black Africans.

This video is graphic evidence that Islam is satanic.

This is not the result of:
1. poverty
2. male chauvinism
3. a culture of misogyny
4. lack of opportunity
5. colonialism
6. etc.

No. This is Islam. Only an insane and morally debased government would permit Muslims to settle within its borders. Our government is insane and morally debased. Neither Barack Hussein Obama nor his opponent is going to change that.

This sad episode is in stark contrast to our Lord’s dealings with the woman taken in adultery:

When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?

She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:10-12)

While we must pray for these deluded Muslim madmen we must never delude ourselves into thinking they worship our God or can be safely permitted to settle among Christian peoples.
