Tammy Duckworth, revisited

Tammy Duckworth, the legless, half-Asian half-white Iraq veteran, has, after a previous unsuccessful attempt, been elected to Congress as a Democrat. She’s a typical liberal and typical “empowered” female, as discussed at The Thinking Housewife. In the thread, my thoughts from 2005 are quoted about the moral state of a society that (1) puts women in positions where they get their legs blown off, and (2) treats that as something normal.
